whirling is a dynamic meditation that allows us to drop out of our over-active mind and into a smooth intuitive flow of movement. In this state we feel our beauty, our harmony and our magnificence.

This powerful movement meditation technique by its very nature keeps one centred and present. Once mastered, it is possible to lose oneself in the motion and experience of an incredible point of stillness and expansion. An ecstatic dance of surrender - yet with great discipline.

In a Whirling workshop participants are first guided through the technical aspects of whirling with particular attention to

  • focus
  • energetic attention
  • posture
  • breathing
  • balance

Although based on dervish whirling, the sessions are free of any religious base or dogma and are carried out as a pure dynamic meditation.
